Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist partners closely with other members of the HR team as well as Operations to provide support in all facets of the talent management strategy with significant emphasis in on-boarding and assists with various employment related activities including employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, policy administration, workers' compensation and unemployment claims administration.

  • Responsible for new hire on-boarding initiatives including processing new hires through the recruiting and HRIS systems as well as reviewing new hire paperwork for completion.
  • Support field and corporate hiring managers through the hire process.
  • Maintains positive employee relations/practices and provides policy interpretation as necessary.
  • Provides guidance and assists managers with the disciplinary process and the administration of terminations at the individual contributor level; partners closely with HR leadership regarding more complex employee relations matters.
  • Manages the workers' compensation and unemployment claims process.
  • Conducts exit interviews and tracks and reports trends to identify turnover & retention opportunities.
  • Responsible for coding/processing of invoices for designated business partners.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
